We could seriously use a few new submissions to the club... and a few new members, too! Let's not let this place get stalled!


What are we?
~Black-Mesa is a Half-Life/Half-Life 2 fan-club, dedicated to spread the glory of Gordon Freeman and the Half-Life series all across deviantART!

It all spawned from the founders' frustration when they never found any Half-Life fanclub on dA, even after fruitless hours of searching. Upon deciding that defeating Nihillant was easier than trying and finding a good fan-club to saciate their HL-istic cravings, the couple decided to create a brand new spankin' club, out of a rather uninspired name choice: ~Black-Mesa!

Who is Gordon Freeman? What is Black Mesa?!
- Uh... search the internet a bit... I'm sure Google will give you plenty of answers to that question.

How to Join?
- Send a note to ~Black-Mesa, requesting to join us in our headcrab-smashing crusade for more HL art! If at all possible, please include a link of an already-uploaded Half-Life-related work of yours! And remember to +Watch us!

How do I send my works to be shown there?
- As with joining, send a note containing the link to your deviation, to ~Black-Mesa. Your work will be featured here unless there's something VERY wrong with it, like excessive mature content and so on. Blood and guts are OK, but there's a limit to the bloody mess a headcrab zombie (for example) can make! Also, make sure your work is related to the Half-Life series in some way, or it won't get shown here.

- Again, send us a note. We'll try to answer it, and, if needed, put it here in this journal!
